Hi I’m Avi
Over the years I’ve been going to various destinations only to discover that there are primarily 2 ways to travel.
Either to splurge,
or to be on a very strict budget.
But what about the rest of us?
What about people who don’t have resources to stay at the Ritz, but who don’t want to stay at a hostel or a cheap hotel with questionable service? I never compromise on quality. I always manage to discover a good deal. I look at what is necessary for a particular destination.
When I go to a European country, I find a hotel that is centrally located. Yes, sometimes it wouldn’t have a spa or certain services that you would find in a luxury 5star hotel, but it would still be nice and close to major attractions. This gives me an opportunity to spend more on individualized tours, nicer restaurants and so on.
Reasonable is the key word!
When I go to a Caribbean destination, I would actually find a hotel with a nice beach and other amenities. I wouldn’t need to spend as much money on excursions, as during European travel. Even with excursions, I do my research, and more often than not, I would go to a place on my own, for a fraction of the price. And, of course, there are places where it makes sense to go with a guide. It’s all about being reasonable.
In this blog I’ll share my experience of going to various places, and how I was able to get maximum out of my trips without having to waste my money on unnecessary things. So, Avi ThereYET?
